Seeking– Casual Loan Processor / Finance Broker
We areseeking a highly driven individual, who is eager to commit and learn theindustry of mortgage broking. This is initially a loan processor role, but wehave every intention to train and support the right candidate in their careerprogression. If you have some prior experience in the banking industry or creditrelated industries, we welcome you to apply. Ourcompany is a small Finance Broker firm, based in Adelaide and providesmortgage and commercial lending solutions to our clients. We are seeking anindividual to assist initially with 2 brokers in the end-to-end process of loanfiles. There may be overflow of client files, for which we would eventuallyintend to have this individual take on the client and provide the best serviceto them. Theright candidate will have excellent customer service skills, with the abilityto maintain strong relationships with clients and any referral partners thatprovide lending opportunities. With clients being our greatest asset, theprovision of excellent customer service is critical. Excellent number skillsare advantageous and an understanding of interpreting financial informationwill be highly regarded. Youwill be appropriately accredited, or be willing to obtain such accreditation,and must abide by industry laws, regulations and best practice standards. Thisrole can be remotely performed and will suit an experienced individual orsomeone who maybe looking to re-enter the work force or a highly motivatedgraduate who is performance oriented and ideally has knowledge aboutthe mortgage industry.
Key Selection Criteria of the Role
- Liaise with Brokers to prioritise workload and inform of any file updates required;
- Follow up loan application process from submission to settlement and any post settlement servicing as required;
- Accurately submit applications in relation to mortgages and commercial loans;
- Ensure the internal database is accurate and up to date at all times;
- Complete orders for required application documents including valuations and pricing of new accounts;
- Follow up application documents as required;
- Monitor letter of offer from preparation to completion of settlement;
- Complete any servicing request upon settlement with domicile branch and servicing team through to completion;
- Finalise the client file ensuring it is accurate and up to date with all the required information in preparation for reconciliation within the week of settlement.
