According the law in South Australia, any light that installed after the factory will be illegal, not only HID

only truck(24V) is able to do that, aftermarket n non factory one, no matter wt colour or wt style,

it still not allow to use on the road, this is wt i asked in Service SA, if u guys don't believe, u can

go n ask yrself. anyway, nice colour n nice LED*!

According to investgating the mainstream  autoshop in south australia(Supercheap, Autobarn, Repco......), 100% of them are selling the aftermarket HID (Not for the truck, it is for the car!), aftermarket LED lights. And the price is much much much higher than the 楼主's. If you guys don't believe that, you can go to these shops

I do think the specialists and the legal advisors working for the auto shop companies have more knowledges than the temporary, bad temper, unprofessional staffs who is working for the Service SA. In the North Tce I met the discriminations from them cause they thought you were asian I just said: "Try me , Say again! " The trash shut up.

In a word the staff in the service sa are all losers in Australia

that's a good point,but as i know Autobarn, Cartoys are selling HIDs, LEDs even more.

Including bucket seat, full 3" exhaust, greddy Turbo timer, different kind of gauges( oil temp, oil pressure etc....), even they are selling coilovers.

but did that mean u can install it n use it legally on the road??

i am not talking abt the price, plz don't compare those workshop with 楼主's
( Maybe u are one of those 楼主's fd)

they are allow to sell it doen't mean u are able to use on the road.

If i got anything wrong plz correct me.

are they going to care wt r u going to do with their product even they have good knowledge?

they setting up the business is to get profile n

sorry dude u can't use aftermarket HID on the road n we won't sell it

现在这个问题路局没有明确规定，在我这安装的朋友在安装之前我都会告诉他们，现在没有明确规定，如果有警察找事那就是倒霉，但是我安装这些灯的朋友没有一个被警察抓住说是违法的。 我知道有被抓住的是因为安装的灯太亮。所以我一般建议不要安装太亮。并且声明一下，从发贴到现在我都没有说这个是100%肯定是合法的。所以你没有必要在这强调什么。 但是谢谢顶帖。
