还是建议买房。。。。正所谓安居乐业，有道理的。。

I only buy new if I need the warranty service eg a 4WD which the repaire cost is so high while there ...

I prefer an economical diesel wagon suits the family which makes the Golf Wagon and Hyundai i30 CW the only choice.
Holden is bit too big and i think in the long run, VW keeps the value better

diesel vs petrol has never come to an end. I have heard so many good things about petrol but also some amazing things like diesel. right now the gap is very minimal, maybe just few cents. I am sure that diesel is the trend for future auto technology. Golf Wagon 7 speed DSG transmission makes only 5.7L/100K

Hyundai New R diesel engine which announce that 15,000 km without servicing and the new gearbox is life time servicing free.

如果能从现在的房屋贷款里提出钱来买车，利息能省不少。毕竟车贷都在9点多，没必要单独开一个车贷的。但是你一定要强迫自己每个月多还房贷，一定要强迫自己。

至于汽油柴油的问题，我就不多说了。柴油车的resale会比汽油好一点。还有啊，你确定Wagon的柴油车是7速DSG？我知道普通Golf柴油是6速的。7速干式DSG承受不了柴油机的扭矩，6速的要比7速的好。

选车是挺复杂的，不过Golf还是很不错的。还有啊，你的工作单位如果超过10个人，可以跟买车的时候申请corporate discount。25个人以上是corporate discount plus，要是给政府工作，能享受政府discount。以上的优惠是VW公司给的，剩下的就是要狠狠地砍经销商的利润了。

不知道wagon要等多久，反正GTI等个4-5个月很正常。

至于买不买新车，完全是个人的选择了。如果你把买新车时候砍下来的价格考虑进去，还是不错的。还有引用别人一句话，new car smell is priceless。
