Experienced cook/chef

·       3-month Part-time Role

Coco House is a leading and popular Asian café, currently looking for Casual Experienced Cook / Chef, based on Holdfast Walk, Glenelg, Adelaide.

The ideal Cook / Chef will be energetic and motivated, with ability to communicate in English. The role is part-time working 30-32 hours per week, must be available to work from Monday to Friday between 12pm and 6pm.

Daily duties will include but notbe limited to:

·       Preparing ingredients

·       Cooking food

·       Managing stock levels, and ordering stock with suppliers

·       Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, presentation and hygiene in the kitchen and food service areas

Applicants must also have:

·       Commercial cooking experience required

·       Previous experience in a high pressure cooking environment

·       An ability to produce qualityfood in a timely manner

·       Understanding of ingredients in sauces and condiments

·       Knowledge and experience of Asian cuisine is an advantage

·       Excellent organisational skills

·       Good communication skills
