Dental Assistant needed

Dental Assistant/Receptionist

About the Practice:

Our young family dental practice in Chinatown focuses on providing high quality, comprehensive treatments with superior patient experience for every patient. We strive to maintain long lasting and trusting relationships with our clients.

About the role:

· Working with friendly and respectful dentists

· Training will be provided in all aspects of our services

· Initially a casual role over 1 to 3 days a week which will eventually lead to permanent part time or full time as the clinic grows

· Variety in daily duties, concurrent role as a Dental Assistant and Receptionist

In this position, you will be responsible for:

· Strict sterilisation processes and highest standard of infection control

· General chair-side assisting

· Reception duties

· Completing daily routines

· Patient care and management

· Maintaining a clean and healthy clinical environment

· Front office administration

About you:

To be successful for this role you need to be willing to commit to a long-term position and be available week days and Saturdays.

You will also need:

· A current first aid/ CPR certificate

· A current working with children's check and police clearance certificate

· To provide current Immunisation status for practice accreditation purpose

· A Certificate III/IV in Dental Assisting

· A friendly and approachable attitude

· Experience is an advantage but not essential

· Mandarin speaker is compulsory
