Newly renovated in 2010, Daniel’s isan established part of Adelaide food culture and the restaurant scene. We aresituated in the heart of the city with a large balcony dining area overlooking themost popular shopping precinct in Adelaide.

Title:Cafe and Restaurant Manager

Jobtype: Full Time

Purposeof the position: The restaurant manager at Daniel’swill be responsibleto organise and control the operations of the restaurant providing customers dining and cateringservices, and enjoyment.

Wagepackage: $60, 000 per year+Bonus+ Superannuation (negotiable if with more than 10 years working experience)

EssentialRequirements:

1.Fluent English speaker with relatively good understanding of Asian culture is preferred;

2.Related working experience in Accommodation or food industry is preferred;

3.Associated degrees in management or business area;

4.Good customer service skill, communication skill and team work spirit.

Duties and responsibilities

Organising and supervising the shifts of kitchen, waiting and cleaning staff. Coordinating all activities between the kitchen and dining room to ensure Daniel’s service is efficient
Assessing and reviewing customer satisfaction. Problem-solving and investigative roles are added to the manager's duties when a customer complains about the food or service
Maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety
Planning menus with Chefs
Observing liquor, gaming, and other laws and regulations
Taking responsibility for the business performance of the restaurant. Preparing reports at the end of the shift/week, including staff control, food control and sales. Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget. Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
Preparing cash drawers and providing petty cash as required
Organising marketing activities and special functions, such as promotional events and discount schemes
Training and supervising waiting and kitchen staff
Helping in any area of the restaurant when circumstances dictate
